Statistics can sometimes prove nothing....you can't statistically prove that one subject is harder than another.
Higher Geology isn't a popular subject, neither is Ad H Chemistry - not a large majority of people do these subjects.
Let me do a little example to prove my point:
Say you have 3 numbers; 3, 4, 14
The average is 7. You know that you get a more accurate average/mean if you have more numbers...right? Well think of your statistics in the same way...they are not entirely accurate because a large number of people don't sit them. The statisitcs stating who got an A, B or C aren't accurate as they would be for Ad H Maths because more people do that Ad H Maths, therefore the numbers concerning Ad H Maths reflect a broader range and variety of people.
Also, I don't think statisics can prove the the hardest subject, everyone finds other subjects easier or harder than others, it's all down to what you find difficult. I'm really good at Maths, Computing and Physics, but I can't do English or Chemistry to save myself...I find them hard...but you might find them easy... see my point?

chemistry is the most difficult tho
even u admitted u find it hard
i think u will find a lot of ppl study AH CHemistry and its popular after Maths, so ure comment about it bein unpopular is blatantly incorrect
also more take it than any other science

its true their is a table of the hardest subjects in terms of a number of topics including the actual content in the course, as well as percentages of A's, B's and C's with the cut off's in exams also being a factor i would think because there should be a constant percentage of A's, B's and C's being handed out each year
If i am not here i am somewhere else

james1 just because you find Chemistry really hard it does not mean that other people do not find it hard. For example, I found English harder than Chemistry and also Information Systems in some areas.

i said i didnt find "any subjects difficult" this year cos i put the work in
out of the ones i did, chemistry is "most difficult" if i was to rank them
in general for all subjects chemistry is most difficult and its proven
i hope u understand

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!

Sorry, could you clarify what you mean, are you saying you learned the course by yourself, without any teacher involvement, or just that you never had double periods?

How did that work out? Was it like an extra subject, or did you just put in alot of personal study work? How come you didn't have a teacher?
