Yeah, they all have there "system" for picking the numbers! Ridiculous!

I also don't get the nonsense Noel keeps going on about the "Relationship" with the banker...it's only a voice on a phone, we don't get to hear?!?

Noel edmonds career sank along beside Mr Blobby's!
and countdowns a legend of a show but i stopped watching it after Richard Whiteley's death (rest in peace) suppose as a mark of respect. i think they should have stopped it personally. although Des is a good replacement hes just not on the same level as whiteley.

I think Whiteley's death left a void in Countdown which will never really be fully filled. As he was the "face of Countdown" for over 20 years, there is still something strange about the show without him. Des doesn't try to match Richard; he is sort of different. Still, I think he was a really good choice - while he seemed understandably apprehensive at first, he's settled into the job well now, built up rapport with Carol etc. And he's revealed a pleasant aspect of his personality that I couldn't detect from watching his England commentaries!
What I also like about Des is his enthusiasm over the 'Teatime Teasers', and his anxiety that the contestants "put their finger on the old buzzer, just there *pointing*...got it?".

I think Noel was one of the main contenders, alongside Des, for the position of presenter of Countdown; I'm glad he didn't get it. It was actually his annoying personality which drew me into watching Deal or No Deal, and I'm just...into it now! That's how it happened, really.

The guys board was ok... but not really THAT great. He ended up with £10k.
I laugh when the greedy people end up with not alot

Cows are magnificent,
Cows I call them "moos",
And sometimes silly folk,
They call my moos "coos".
