Well i had parents evening last week and the teacher told me i was getting F's and they were considering kicking me off the course and stuff so i came home from work and my rents went MAD! So i tried to explain i had B's in the A/b tests and had passed all my nabs but they was having none of it so i went to my teach and she wrote me a letter of apol. since one has been forbiden by the powers which be to speak in text speech, then one is forced to speak like such.

only joking! what are you's doin in chem just now?

well if i want an A 24/30 is crap

View Post

For my first NAB I got 23/30 and an A in the prelim. Also hoping for an A in the final exam. smile.gif

Remember a NAB is C-level, and so when people don't do as well in it, it may be because they are expecting more challenging questions which they are used to.
Summer romances end for all kinds of reasons, but when all is said and done, they have one thing in common -- they are shooting stars, a spectacular moment of light in the heavens, a fleeting glimpse of eternity... and in a flash, they're gone.

Me again

doug_90 if you think 24/30 is bad for a NAB

unit 1 FAIL = 13/30
unit 2 PASS = 18.5/30

so the most i am hopeing for is a C if i actually have the guts to actually go 4 the exam

well like a said Unit 1 resit tomorrow so a need to do some cramming for it or am failing

later

first nab, i got 18 out of 30 and the second i got 15 out of 30 , so just passed the first and failed the second, hey it beats my maths nabs! now that was bad. i spoke to my teacher and he's welling to lets me take up to 3 times if i need it but he doesn't think i will. bad prelim, i have a slight accident and my teachers got a shock and then a laugh! not good, i'm almost certain i failed, but i don't think my teacher is happy entering that paper.

Yeah, ours was the same. I hadn't done any revision either (I think I've got motivational problems) so I spent a good half hour trying to work out sensible ways to do the different types of calculation. It went okay overall though for me, I think my teacher is going to realise that I haven't revised because I got all the general questions right but detailed questions about ppa's etc. I couldn't remember. Don't get too worried if you think you've done badly though, there's a few parts I thought I'd done badly in but I checked up afterwards and I got them right, so you can never really know how you've done until your papers been given back to you.

lol...our school bought papers from them for chemistry, biology and physics but all three departments have agreed that they are overly difficult...so the pass mark may be lowered smile.gif
