I've lived here all my life, and i disagree!
I'd agree with that John. I lived in the "plook on the plinth 2005" Cumbernauld

I think it should be decided on what's most convenient for the largest number of people instead of bashing cities, they all have their nice areas.

Cows are magnificent,
Cows I call them "moos",
And sometimes silly folk,
They call my moos "coos".

You's probably aren't daft enough to do that anyway, but I've heard horror stories* happening with regards to meet-ups of other forums so I thought I'd say.
*Okay, maybe not horror stories, but un-invited non-members lurking around rather creepily. It's unlikely to happen with a forum this wee, but you never know.
Fully agree!! I could be bad news for HSN if this isn't done in a mature, organised fashion. I suggest someone arranges it and send this info through personal message or email. Only invite regulars to the forum. Not newbies like me lol. I could be anyone for all you know lol.

Maybe then we could get a private (passworded) forum created and the password PM'ed out to those that say they can go. That's probably as private as it can be kept on the forum.

I'll set up a MSN Group for it and post the link!

Well, a passworded forum takes about 30 seconds to create and automatically logs each topic and post, and it is reliable. And it's easier to get everyone to vote on everything. Adding each other on MSN pretty much destroys that.

Trust me, as someone who was born in Edinburgh, and lived there for 18 years most parts of Edinburgh are anything but snobby
