Ok I phoned up, only one appeal was sent, (Accounts) and there was no change.

I am mad that my geography and maths were not appealed for. VERY mad!

I know i was in for an appeal in admin to go from D to B but none of our school has any word yet.

i dont have a clue about any appeals - nothing at all was mentioned about any of them by the school. no-one has said anything about their appeals

Maybe all the appeals aren't out yet? Hmm if that is true then perhaps I might still hear something about my maths and geography appeal.

im still waiting for my geography appeal....its sgrade tho so it'll probably be another month or so before i get it sad.gif

am not too bothered if i don't get it...am stil happy wit wot i got :>

'Urgent' (for entry to uni/college) appeals were announced on the 15th of September.

Highers/AH appeals were announced on the 27th of September.

S.G/Int 2 appeals come out by early/mid-November apparen

Your new certificate should reach you by late November.

well it is a higher maths appeal i am waiting to hear about. i doubt i'll get it but i would like to know anyway.

no-one that i know has heard anything about their appeals yet from the school - its weird. wink.gif

i got 95% in my maths Prelim

got an C in final exam

result = no appeal

To start with I never got my History appeal from a B to an A cos the cover was P & N but the teacher explained that she made up her own questions cos they hasn't even looked at it then I got a letter in the post the other day and I got my appeal!! yeay!! was over the moon!! biggrin.gif

I didn't know I was getting appealed and didn't care too much but got new results posted today and they've upgraded my AH maths from a D to a C. Still not great since I had low A in prelim but it's my own fault not working second half of year.

This year i'm aiming for 80% + on all maths.

The SQA seem to have been very stingy with their maths appeals this year. I sat Int2 last year and despite getting an A in both my prelims (we held two) and an a in my A/B test (tested work at level A and B only) I achieved a C in my exam and they never upgraded excl.gif
