I thought the film was ok but there were a few things I didn't like. I thought the little girl having psychic powers was a daft and unnecessary part of the film. Judi Dench often had more of an Irish accent than that of a Newfoundlander. How was the house dragged from the frozen bay up on to its perch over the cliffs? Apart from a few things like that it was pretty good.

I particularly enjoyed Downfall. I'd give it 8/10. Hitlers face was hilarious when he was going balistic.

I saw some of 101 Dalmations today (non animated) - 6/10.

Very much historically accurate I thought? Please talk about the inaccuracy. smile.gif

Watched Armageddon this evening. A bit ridiculous and sensationalist but nothing wrong with a bit of that now and then. 7/10 smile.gif

i was nitpicking mind you, as i tend to do with historic films

the accent used for Hitler didnt match tape recordings ive heard(even the one Ganz used to mimick), other things such as the smoking within the bunker(expressly forbidden by Hitler), swing music(banned throughout Germany)

Trudle Junge's testimony at the beginning was very very fishy

Fair enough dehny but I those are rather minor points!

Watched The Corporation this evening. Unfortunately I didn't know it was on at the time I posted in the TV Picks thread. It is excellent and everyone should see it. 10/10
