I done the experiment today and it took about 30 mins to set up. I tried 1 experiment but I mucked it up cos my tube was menat to go in the upside down measuring cylinder but it slipped. I used pig liver

you can use potato, but let's face it, potato is too boring and won't capture anyone's interest 
nah it never worked, but today was really for me to test it to see if I could set up the apperatus. The only trouble I will have is cutting up the liver. It is a solid piece of meat and it ain't easy

Put it in the River! If you come up to dundee, the River Tay is freezing so i think theres a solution to your problem.
