i was last year. but i promise, you do get used to it really quickly, & its sooooo much better than school!
when i'm dancin' with you,
tomorrow doesn't matter,
turn that music up,
till the windows start to shatter,
cos you're the only one who can get me on my feet,
& i can't even dance

I am actually not really "scared" about going to uni but more apprehensive incase it's a big let down since (it may be a little childish) but I cannot wait to start uni! :-/

I'm more scared about the whole change thing. Like, me and my mates are all going our own way and it'll be really weird not knowing anyone. I don't like change very much, it tends to just make me stress out.

I'm quite excited at the same time, though.

I know what you mean - everybody has went their own way, and it will be different not seeing them everyday like you're used to at school. I would say I am still more excited that scared though.

that's exactly how i feel. i'm used to everyone i know being around me, but with this, i'll know no one. Once i get settled into the lifestyle and find someone to talk to, i'm sure it'll be just fine and dandy.

Yeh the whole change thing is what scares me the most. Uni is going to be totally different from school, and there is gonna be totally different types of people with different personalities there. Though i am really excited about meeting new people and making new friends coz thats one thing i love doing! i think Uni wll be absolutely amazing! smile.gif

I'm actually not feeling scared, surprisingly... just anticipation. I'm trying to take it easy in the last week or so I have. I've been too busy to be scared, still have stuff to sort out!

I'm scared, moving out and going to a place where I have next to no friends. And I'm not very good at making friends either. sad.gif And I'm also scared because I can't write essays! What if I find hte coursework too difficult? I will have a wee tiny prison cell for a room and no toilet. And I bet I shall be stuck with a whole pile of drunkards. And I'm worried about the money side of things as well.

I need some positive points...I'm looking forward to finding out the good points about it all - seeing what having my own independance is like, should gain in confidence too which would be good for me. Once I have a friend or two and have settled in and got over the newness of it all I shall be fine, hopefully.

I'll take the oppertunity to say a big good luck to everyone else starting uni this year thumbsup.gif

There are times when I'm terrified about it, and times when I just can't wait to get away.
I'm more scared about living with people I don't know.

Haha, ditto Lindsay.

I'm the same as last year, i'll be fine once i've got a chum.

However, I'm generally feeling more confident about the academic side of it than i was for law. I love learning and have missed using my brain.
