If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!

A band 1 A. I was so shocked when I found out I got that. I was one of only three people in my school to achieve that...made even more surprising by the fact I'm deaf. Well, evidently, being deaf is not a problem for me. tongue.gif

I got a B which I am happy about. I had always struggled to get a B in practice Close Readings as well as essays. TBH, after the exam I thought I could have had a chance of an A cos of the low grade boundaries and the fact that I found the exam comfy, but a B is good for me as well smile.gif

Thanks well done to you aswell. I think English is the hardest higher even more so than Chemistry, don't know about Geology but.

I would but I have left school might make a point of going to see my teacher and that teacher will hopefully be there biggrin.gif

I did that as soon as i came out the exam!!
