Slightly off-topic, but I think if the SQA publish the stuff tommorow for the press there is a way to get hold of it - dont worry its legit lol. I mean honestly, shielding a directory listing with a blank index.html is quite sloppy.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!

Higher Maths pass rate stays the same.

Will that affect the percentage for a B in maths?

The only way to know for sure is to wait for the PA report.

Anger as pupils get university letter before exam results

Nearly 100 Scots pupils found out whether they had gained a university place yesterday - before they have even received their exam results.

A blunder by UCAS, the clearing organisation, led to letters being delivered yesterday that were not meant to be sent out until later this week.

Last night, a UCAS spokesman apologised and said it would be contacting the 89 pupils involved.

However, one father contacted The Scotsman to voice his anger at the mistake. The man, who did not wish to be named, said his daughter had discovered that she had missed out on her first-choice university because she had not received the three B-grade Higher passes that she needed.

He said: "I'm really disappointed and very concerned for my daughter, who is extremely distressed."

UCAS received the results from the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) last week. The UCAS spokesman said: "The letter did not give any incorrect information or details of examination results. However, it did contain decisions from institutions that had been based upon the results."

An SQA spokesman said it was "disappointed" by the UCAS mistake.

Could be a really good day though - you can tell them all that you *did* get the results you needed - which I am sure you will be able to do.

That was quite unfortunate. :/ I'm doubting whether they'll put the press release up on the SQA site just now lol. They surely can't work at midnight. tongue.gif

Ok, that means theres less chance of us seeing our "uni replies" on UCAS 2nite before we get the results. By the way they are saying it in that article, it seems to be a crime to release uni replies (in post or ucas online) before results come.

Kinda sounds like UCAS has to wait until people have their results before publishing their decisions from Uni's.

Im not gona sleep easy 2nite!

I'm gona check again after 1am. Although I think the server time is set at GMT, there MAY be an hour difference. Anyhow, I'll check after 1am. If its a script changing it all over then who knows!
