i got...

A for H Bus Man. Pleased with that and tbh thought i'd get it.
C for H philosphy. Really disappointed with that one but what can you do! I was predicted an A, so he'll probably appeal for me. I know it doesn't really make any difference in the bigger picture but you know!
D for Adv Maths. Didn't think i'd get anything.. but still maintain that a D is just a fail trying to make you feel better.

I've got my place doing Law at Glasgow so the results didn't really matter - still wanted to do alright though. Suppose i did!

So all in all highers wise... AAAAABC and that delightful D for the only adv higher.

Lots of A's in the results from this year. Well done people. cool.gif

Summer romances end for all kinds of reasons, but when all is said and done, they have one thing in common -- they are shooting stars, a spectacular moment of light in the heavens, a fleeting glimpse of eternity... and in a flash, they're gone.

The SQA have told various people on the forum what bands they got - try phoning them.

I think I know a way to work out some of your bands.

It is my understanding that SQA exam results are listed by level first, then by grade, i.e.

AH Maths B
H Geography B
Higher Chemistry C
Higher Accounting C

Notice how Chemistry comes before Accounting, shouldn't it be the other way around so they are in alphabetical order? Does this mean I got a band 6 for Accounting and a band 5 for Chemistry?

The reason I know that they are meant to be in alphabetical order - look at your standard grade results. They are ordered by level, then grade then alphabetical order by subject.

1. What are your results? (Grades & Level)
5 Band 1 Higher A grades Baby

2. Did you meet your expectations?
I'm somewhat bewildered by the nature of this question.

3. If not, are you going to appeal?
To whom?

4. Have you made any decisions now about what you will do regarding further study/university?
As I said in one of my earlier posts I intend to be the first Scot to reach planet Pluto after studying for a degree in astronomy at Oxbridge University.

5. How do you feel about your exam results?
I like the shiny panel at the bottom right hand corner.... I had hours of fun with this

6. What time did you receive your results?
It depends on the relativity of the space time continuum to your and I 6 figure grid referenced locations. But generally it was about half elleven GMT on planet earth.
