That being said, I haven't had a proper drink in ages.

Tis true, very true, i woke up with a lovely one this morning, the thumping headache is still there

It was worth it though
I woke up on the sofa at my friend's flat at 6.30 with the sun blaring through the window. I think I groaned "mmmehhh-arrrrghh" for about 15 minutes before finding the strength and gut to actually get up and close the curtains.
It was actually a pretty crap night - girl I like couldn't go, folk from work that I don't get on with turned up and then I tried to set up my friend with a girl we met and it was going perfectly until he blew it by being a grumpy git despite admitting he liked her and there was the usual work arguments that break out on a drunken night!
Oh! Tonight I'm out with same crowd! No drinking for me though, best behaviour.

When pal number one says, "Yes, Lindsay, I'll come see the Dykeenies with you so you can drool over singer boy!" then the night before, at like midnight, texts you and says, "Oh, I've just remembered I'm working tomorrow. Sorry!"
So you find pal number 2 as a substitute, who says at 3 in the afternoon, "Yeah, sounds good to me!" but when you text her to check details etc. DOES NOT REPLY.
So now I'm not getting to see the Dykeenies and drool over singer boy which I've been looking forward to for over a week because FRIENDS ARE CRAP.
I am witholding pal number one's ticket for their gig at the QM next month as punishment. I'll find another pal to go with me instead. HMPH.
I washed my hair and everything. I don't like washing my hair. Yesterday, for example, whilst washing my hair, a wee bit off a sale sticker from work came out of it. It had been hiding there since Friday.
I give Airdrie a good name.

You should have texted me. I'd have happily went.

They sound pretty cool. I'd go see them with you, but it looks like I've just spent this month's pay on gig tickets. >.>
Sorry!

tomorrow doesn't matter,
turn that music up,
till the windows start to shatter,
cos you're the only one who can get me on my feet,
& i can't even dance

Friends who ditch you for boys are the absolute worst though. I cannot be doing with that at all.
People are stupid. I've been saying it a lot lately, but they really are.
On the bright side, my dad said he'd pay for me to get my hair done to "straighten my face". So I'm booked in for a cut and colour next week. Hooray.

Were you on a 36/38 into town last night at about 11? I might have sat in front of you
