I used to go to Strathclyde University to do MEng Chemical Engineering, but I hated the course, so I quit. I've started doing MSc Mathematics, from September 2006, as I have a keen (almost unhealthy) interest in Mathematics, and its applications.

The grades I achieved in the exams:

1 - Standard Grade Mathematics
1 - Standard Grade Physics
1 - Standard Grade Chemistry
1 - Standard Grade Computing Studies
1 - Standard Grade Craft and Design
2 - Standard Grade English
2 - Standard Grade Geography

A (Band 1) - Higher English
A (Band 1) - Higher Mathematics
A (Band 2) - Higher Chemistry
B (Band 3) - Higher Physics

Anything else ya wanna know about me, PM me or add me to your MSN contact list and chat to me there. :P

Man, it has been so long since I went on this forum. So much to read that I'm not gonna bother. I just thought I'd update y'all on my present internet situation. See, I moved into a flat a month ago. Virgin Media has been a total arse about arranging internet. Contacted them three times, and three weeks after I first applied, they FINALLY got round to responding. Guess what? Despite the website itself clearly saying it was available in my area, the guy who contacted me was spouting bullshit about how it would cost 200,000 to lay the cable for the internet in my area, which didn't have it available. Very odd. Anyway, got a BT line connected, and is now waiting for Be Broadband to connect me to their 24Mbps service. happy.gif So, in about two to four weeks, I'll be online properly. w00t!

In the meantime, I'm gonna get drunk at my flatwarming party in a couple of weeks. happy.gif

Catch y'all later!

I am going to kill TopShop. I spent 60-odd online on Sunday. I ordered a dress, a top and a pair of jammies. I opted for the next day delivery, which was 5, rather than 4 standard.

So I was thinking I'd probably get it today.

Wrong!

According to the Parcelforce site, it's still sitting in the national hub. Wherever that is.

I'm going to have to phone TopShop and shout at them tomorrow. I'll have to tell them that I needed that dress for tonight and my evening was ruined. RUINED. Or something.

Lesson to be learned here, don't buy clothes online(from TopShop at least)!

Some warehouse worker is probably enjoying your dress a little too much. wink.gif

I got it through today. Eventually. And the dress is too big. It's one of those dresses which you apparently need boobs to wear. Which I don't have. So I'll take that back on Friday. Booo.

Blooming TopShop. I think I'll phone and shout at them anyway.

They're awful, tuppy. I mean, they're offering you a service, you expect them to at least do it right.

I'm falling out of love with TopShop. I like Miss Selfridge best this season. They were very good at delivering. They got my leopard print dress to me in seconds. It was amazing.

Well, maybe not seconds, but two days or something.

Is it Parcelforce they're using? Because I hate Parcelforce, they're crap.

WTF? Apparently Paris Hilton has been freed from prison and "was reassigned at 2:09am on June 7 to home confinement with an ankle bracelet for 40 days due to a medical condition."

She didn't last long. :/

Parcel Force are delivering my shoes...
It's ok, I still have a week. And the delivery was free. But I better get them before the ball. And they better fit the same as the ones in the other colour. You lot are worrying me.

i really shouldn't be allowed anywhere near shops......
when i'm dancin' with you,
tomorrow doesn't matter,
turn that music up,
till the windows start to shatter,
cos you're the only one who can get me on my feet,
& i can't even dance

My shoes arrived today.
They match the dress perfectly! And they're red. And I didn't realise they had such a big heel, I can walk fine in them, it doesn't feel like a big heel, but the boy isn't mauch taller than me at my shortest. Oh well, I love them.

Woohoo! Promoted!

A whole year and one month before I was meant to even be allowed to apply for it, they just handed it to me! biggrin.gif

Cracking stuff.
