i had such a good night last night. out with my best guy mate. was drinking cocktails - bad move when i'm working at half 8 the morning after! work wasn't fun this morning! in my defence though, i did only have 3 cocktails, i think they must have had a huge alcoholic content! another night out tonight, one of the managers from work is leaving. working at 8am tomorrow. think i really should lay off the alcohol tonight....
when i'm dancin' with you,
tomorrow doesn't matter,
turn that music up,
till the windows start to shatter,
cos you're the only one who can get me on my feet,
& i can't even dance

Yes. You missed a truly BRILLIANT discussion.

Then again, your frequent stories about football games ....and your very ignorant opinions of society......and your completely unoriginal complaints about people who write wrongly on msn/bebo is far FARRRR more interesting to listen to.

I do apologise. tongue.gif Next time I'll talk about....I don't know...boyfriends and men I want to marry huh.gif

In other news, - quite exciting really - and a tad self obsessive. Anyway, I have gone to a recording studio and recorded a few tracks happy.gif... just a selection of three songs I wrote over the past few years. Main vocals - miss macleod, backing vocals and harmony by sister Janag and a good amount of help from Stacey. Go us! For personal listening purposes only.

I am having a dilemma. I can't decide if I want to do French or English next year.

I have pro's and cons.

English
+ It'll go well with journalism
+ It might help with journalism
+ It's quite interesting

- I have to work quite hard at it
- I sometimes don't get it at all

French
+ I love French as a subject
+ I love the language
+ I love France
+ I'm really good at it. I'm not just blowing my own trumpet here, I am actually good at it. I haven't had less than 70% in any of my tests this year. The ones under exam conditions.
+ I get to spend a year abroad
+ If I have French and journalism, I could write for Vogue and go to the fashion shows in Paris. biggrin.gif (dream on, Lindsay)

- I get to spend a year abroad - my health might freak out on me

What do I dooooo? Someone help sad.gif

There is ony one negative for French, but it's quite a big one. But then, there are hospitals in France, the healthcare system there is great. And I'll have my E111 or whatever it is now and travel insurance. And I'm so much more confident now, I think I could handle it. AND it's not like France is the other side of the world, it'd be easy to get home if there was a major problem.

I don't know what do.

Eh,whit!?

My ignorant opinion of society - Oh, pray tell, point to said opinions? I'll just have to look back on your opinions about things like Muslims, homosexuality and transexuals to see ignorance. wink.gif

Oh, and I know a few folk on here that are interested by football stories and being pissed off about how people type.

In other news - Mon The Scots! biggrin.gif Was in Walkabout most of the day with a fantastic atmosphere. smile.gif

I was the meeter and greeter today at work for a few hours, which meant I was to stand next to a door smiling at people and answering questions oh and just to make it that bit more humiliating I had to wear a lime green sash. Anyway I'm thinking about going for the trainee manager's job just for the fun of it. but i had a lovely subway on the way home which made me feel much better biggrin.gif

Good luck with the application.

I know your pain when it comes to having to wear a sash. A certain member of this forum visited me at work one day AND IT HAD TO BE THE DAY when it was a regional managers meeting which is when we all have to wear a bright red sash. I still get made fun of. sad.gif
