Happy Christmas guys :]

Have a lovely day!

I hope Santa has been good to you all. He has been very good to me. I can't stop staring at my iPod, it's actually unhealthy.

Hope everyone got some nice stuff! Oh and don't forget to stuff your faces as much as possible, cause this is the one day you have an excuse to do so!

Worked 6:45am to 4:15pm on the sale. Usual awful customers, some decent ones, got some good buys myself, split up 2 disgruntled women from a petty argument that was verging on a fight. Ach, good times!

Some customers are just downright arseholes.

well i've had a fabby christmas. finished work on sunday, started feeling a bit not well. carried on regardless & went to church for the midnight service like i usually do, had a thumping headache & was all shivery but really warm. got up yesterday morning about half 10, opened pressies, then went back to bed about 12 until 3, when i got up, sat through dinner & ate about 2 mouthfuls, fell asleep on front of the tv about half 6, woke up at half 7, watched some tv & was in bed by midnight. got up today about 3 & have sat in front of the tv since.

yes, its great fun being not well at christmas
when i'm dancin' with you,
tomorrow doesn't matter,
turn that music up,
till the windows start to shatter,
cos you're the only one who can get me on my feet,
& i can't even dance

I feel your pain, Helen! That was me last year. I was in the midst of a Crohn's flare up, ate nothing, kept crying and was doped up on pain killers.

Lovely!

At least you're guaranteed next Christmas will be much better.

I was working 8-5 today, with massive queues all day sad.gif You definetly don't want to be working in retail at this time of year

Although my high point of the day was beating my returning record, one woman returned 578 worth of items ohmy.gif from one receipt, and she'd spent 993 on 66 items!!!!!!!!

EDIT: and i can't beleive I forgot, Carol Smillie came into my work today as well

My spectacularly crap love life has taken another spectacularly crap turn!

You know I was seeing this guy from uni, yeah? Well, we'd been out once, but the flirting and so on and daily contact in between made it constitute as "seeing". Honestly.

WELL. After a couple of days of being a little off with me, I saw a comment on his MySpace.

"I love your girlfriend more than you!"

"So, who's this girlfriend then?"
"Oh, Clare?"

He had, since I'd last seen him two weeks ago to the day, managed to get a girlfriend. Who he had been seeing at the same time as me and decided to make it official between them.

"Oh... Right... Wow, I feel stupid. I thought there was a chance of something happening between you and me."
"=/ Sorry."

HE =/ED ME.

And I'd clearly been messaging friends back and forth on MySpace, and my friend Marki was inspired and made a blog about how crap boys are. You should read it, she's in my top 4. And Graeme messaged her - yes, HE messaged MY FRIEND who he DOES NOT KNOW - to say, "I didn't think she was that interested. I'm not scum, honest."

FOR STARTERS SON, my name is LINDSAY not SHE.

Secondly, HOW WAS I NOT INTERESTED? Anyone who has seen me around him and sees how ridiculously girlie I get would KNOW that I like him. The constant MSN conversations, the constant texts, the date, the kissing, everything. Oh yes, I just snog boys I don't even like. That's fun!

And THIRDLY, after you have ripped out my heart and trampled all over it, you have NO right to say you are not scum.

I am going through the angry stage now, can you tell?

I can't believe he message Marki. That is unreal.

I am converting to the way of the lesbians.

oh dear goodness. thats just pure evil. avoid boys at all cost.

you know, i realised the other day that i have kissed one guy all year. one. thats astoundingly rubbish considering i'm single, & its the smallest number of guys i've kissed in a year since i was about oh, 14. ok, so its not as though this one guy was a one off or anything - my first kiss of the year was at the bells, & last was a week ago - but still, i'm single damnit!
