I'm home for a bit to fiddle with ringtones, then I'm heading off to Polkemet Park for a wander. Yay for me, yo.

Oh my, I felt so young last night.

We were out with Gillian's latest love interest and his friends, and they're all, like... Ancient. Dougey's girlfriend's 27 for God's sake.

Scary stuff.

And there was a guy who was the year above us at school, the baby of the bunch, and he has a full on beard. The kind that'd make Santa jealous. It was quite freaky, I didn't recognise him at first, haha!

Work now. Woopee.

I was at a housewarming party tonight where I was the baby of the bunch. It was just a small gathering of about 9 friends from church - it seems like hte most random group of people in the world:

Lynn, - 25 year old office worker (it was her party)
Catriona - 19, art student (at eca)
Rachel, - 21 year old just left university about to start teacher training
Susan, 25 year old pregnant wifey.
Dave, 24 - susans husband - one of my dad's students.
Tara - 26 year old uni/PhD student
Peter - 27 - photographer, looks like a poofter but is Taras husband
Jane - 22 - my sister. Nurse/BHS manager
Donald - 30 year old single man from Skye laugh.gif

Then me, 18, about to start university! wink.gif

Strange group eh?!! I'd never thought of it before. unsure.gif Was absolutely grrrreat fun though! smile.gif

You'd never believe how wild "church people" get. ph34r.gif Some of them got a wee bit tipsy and decided to do the mattress down the stairs thing laugh.gif biggrin.gif

Oh adn I felt Susan's bump. (She's having the baby thing next month) I was a bit freaked out to be honest, its rather like a balloon. huh.gif

Sadly, I didn't golf. I wrestled my girlfriend's brother and was hooked twice in the face, earning myself a burst lip. laugh.gif

I've got to go ready for work soon. Bah >>

my favourite bit about that park is just the rings that you stand on and go twirling about on... wink.gif

and the flying fox thingy.

and the tyre swing.

and the mini diggers in the sandy bit biggrin.gif

but none of these beat climbing the railway engine in the car park w00t.gif

The Flying Fox, the diggers and the spinny things are still there, but the main fenced in area has been shut down, as well as the tyre-swing, that thing that swung you round, and the hammocks. It's pure pish now.

Oh yeah, and my gramps used to drive that exact train when he worked in Polkemet Pit. Family story repeated many times. laugh.gif

Nothing has happened. At all.

I don't think.

Nothing important anyway.

Oh, there's a meet up next week.

there is a number if things that are scaring me when i think like that though

1) i sound like broughy did this time last year which isnt something i thought i would be saying at this time

2) Uni is pretty boring for the most part when i am there and it doesnt pay well in the short term

Oh well i guess the grasser is always greener on the other side

If i am not here i am somewhere else

last year out of the thousand members we have you were the only one who wanted to go back to school or uni (new first years excluded). At the time i thought you were off your tree, turns out i fell out my tree as well!

haha. did i really honestly want to go back to uni?! what the hell was i thinking.

at this exact moment in time, i don't wanna go back. at least, i don't wanna go back to do the course i'm doing. i failed er, a couple of maths classes this year. however, the average of the grades for my physics classes is in the region of a 2:1, which i'd be more than happy with. & there's only one wee maths class next year. i'm having a bit of a "do i go back & wind up with a rubbish degree, or do i change courses & start from 1st year all over again" crisis at the minute

if you go back to the beginning you will be in with the kids again and generally feel you wanna be out being a graduate rather than still building up debt and working in morrisons.

I am actually looking forward to the stuff in 2nd year and also it might make me less lazy cos i aint doing very much at the moment apart for begging for work which isnt a lotta fun

If i am not here i am somewhere else

Does anyone else high five?

You know. Someone says something funny, does something like pull a good looking guy, blah blah... "HIGH FIVE!"

Or are me and my friends really uncool?

Peter was high fiving me on Tuesday, so clearly he and his friends are also uncool.

I love it when my wee mind gets going, I really do.

It wouldn't be the first time. You did see that video of our song writing abilities.
