I got a 3 at SG and a B at higher.
Standard Grade is stupid because you have to do that stupid solo talk.

In a way I'm in a similar position, last year I sat Int 2 and only got a C. But I do remember reading somewhere on this board that someone got a C at int 2 and a B at higher.

pretty much depends on how much you try and how much effort you put in
I got 1s for english and maths in standard grade (i think) and got Cs in the finals in higher. Thats partly cos I didnt really give a (insert whatever word you like here) about the subjects
But for some reason my grades have always bounced around. Like I failed first maths prelim, got an A in the second (that was hilarious) and hten C in the final exam. In standard grade I got a 4 in music prelim and a 1 in the final exam.

Definitely. My old English teacher told me about a guy who was in the bottom class for English, completely failed the prelim and got a band 1 in the final higher exam - with the right ammount of effort it can be done!
