adriano? Shevchenko? Robinho? Ronaldinho (maybe not out and out) Go to Italy you will find loads. Go to Spain. Anywhere! Don't get me wrong, many of their sighnings have been good, like Robben, Duff.
What about their defence? They ended up buying complete unknown portuguese players! (I know I am getting biased)

adriano shevchnko and ronaldinho would never have been sold as chelsea found out.
they bought those players as mourinho knew them and i think he's trying to build a squad rather than a team of big world class players...though its true that they havent really bought many "world class" players yet

I don't think it is bad what Mourinho did. I actuallly think he has done great with the players he has bought. They have gelled together brilliantly. I am just a bit surprised he didn't go and use his money on some world-class players instead of some players like Glen Johnson, Scott Parker, Tiago, Del Horno etc. Some signings have been great like Wright Philips, etc

I think they have proved they can play well together. I just hope Liverpool can get in the top four cos I can't ever see us playing in the UEFA cup amongst teams like Hearts, SK Brann, FC Crapounak, etc
