Yeh yeh. I've seen that now. Thanx. Ok I'll do one to watchdog but not to shortchange, thats more about price really but I really dont think wrtiting to watchdog is a good idea. I'm not using my address for it but I will create the letter.

I think Watchdog woul dneed to have a good few complaints or some large scale scandal before they investigated the SQA. Sob.

I know that. Thats why I do not, that's categorically do not want any letters of this type to be produced. Ok I'm only writing the one to the SQA. Martin, you do the watchdog or whatever one.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!

It's the schools that pay not the students.

as it stands the SQA have to fund themselves and seriously you can't expect such a small amount of money to pay for production, marking and accreditation of exams not to mention paying for perminent staff. If i am not mistaken Martin do you not go to a private school so you more than anyone should know the price of education

If i am not here i am somewhere else

Indeed. But the SQA is very in-efficient.
That's the point of our protest in reality.

It is the in-efficiency which causes all of the problems.

The SQA is inefficient in the business sense, its practices are strange. It makes exams papers well in advance yet cannot uses its human resources ie its staff to its advantage in checking for errors. It messes up results and alsorts. It needs to sort itself out.

some say sarcasm is the lowest form of wit i disagree when done properly its a great tool for putting people down and in a way which makes them wonder why they wrote/said the original statement in the first place

On this board there is some very intellignet people with the art of sarcasm to a very high standard wink.gif
