My teacher said that 'wave number' was no longer in the sylabus. Is this true?

I'm not aware of any change in the arrangements, check the SQA website for more details. It would seem silly to take it out of the course though as you need to be aware of it to understand Infra Red Spectra in unit 3. Could be though....

As I said I have no idea whether it is true or not, but I don't understand why they would take it out, it isn't exactly hard. If two different teachers have said it then there must but some truth to it.

The last question in the exam had something to do with wavenumber in it. No idea if the course has changed for next session though.
