We start our timetable before August as well. Our whole school change on Tue, which is when the new 5th n 6th years go back after study leave.

That seems like a good timetable. We don't start 6th year until next term. Instead, we have a lot of lectures and visits and stuff. It's all a big bore!!! laugh.gif glare.gif pinch.gif

12 a week (I have 3 subjects, which each get 6 periods in the week - 4 singles and a double - that makes 18. there are 30 periods in the week, leaving 12 free.)

We must be lucky. Most people in our school will have 12 periods off in the week!
