It's one of oldest Universities in the world and all sort of famous people (and my Maths techer) have graduated from there. I feel it's the best Uni in the Edinburgh area and a great place to say you've been to.
Also, it's quite close to home (where I'll be staying - a lot cheaper

I can't wait!

I really wanted to go to Edinburgh (considering that's where I live) but it doesn't offer my course. I want to do Pharmacy although there's only two Uni's in Scotland that offer it. My first choice is Robert Gordon Uni in Aberdeen. The only other scottish Uni that offers my course is Strathclyde so that's my back-up. Either way, I'll have to leave home (uh oh). If I don't get either I'm seriously gonna have to rethink my future!

Well I certainly think so. The career as written on paper sounds really interesting.

I know what you mean about RSAMD. I wanted to be actress but after finding out how hard it would be to get into best place in Scotland for performing arts I gave up. Theres no way I'd get chosen. Even with good academics they have to do auditions for talent and you have to show great promise. I just dont feel that I'm an experienced enough actress or that I'm talented enough.

Hey...
I think what your saying is true but you can get experince I'm not giving up just because its selective when I apply I doubt I'll get in but I'll carry on applying. I'm trying o get as much experience as poss I'm a member of the local drama group, take part in all the school shows, am a member of Scottish Youth Theatre and am doing a course with them aswell as my classes in the summer.
Really I dont think you should give up...you never know you might be talented enough and if you dont try you'll always wonder what might have been.
I dunno if thats relevant to you but thats kind of how I look at it.
Good luck in whatever you decide to pursue!!!
