Vinyl acetate and hexane have the same relative formula mass. Explain why you would expect vinyl acetate to have higher boiling point than hexan.
This is worth 2 marks. My answer was as follows:
-Vinyl Acetate will have hydrogen bonding which means more energy will be needed to break the bonds
-Vinyl Acetate has 2 double band which are more difficult to break (thus needing more energy) where as hexane is fully saturated.
Do you think this is two marks worth?

I think so because it wouldn't expect you to write four points for a half mark each coz its a slightly more complicated question

The marking guide says:

OR
vinyl acetate having permanenet dipole interactions.
