has anyone ever tried them and, if so, do they work? unsure.gif im needing something for the prom dress, but since it's like a tie up corset idea at the back your average strapless bra would be noticable. anyone got any ideas... huh.gif

thanking you! tongue.gif

I think they're ok if you don't have massive boobs. There was one girl in my year who has quite massive boobs and was wearing a stick-on bra, but she said it did nothing at all, so she ended up whipping it off and letting it all hang out. Literally. *shudders*

I haven't tried them, but my boobs resemble midgey bites, so I tend to just go bra-less if I'm wearing a backless top.

Either that or I wear day-glo underwear because it's fun. tongue.gif

£45 seems like a major rip off. i'm sure good old marks & spencers do a cheaper version. the other option is to go with a bra thats got clear straps. ok, so it looks like you've got a strip of sellotape across your back, but its another option if you don't wanna go bra-less

i was doing my daily trip to primark today and spotted sorta what your going on about Broughy. The thing is they've got like plastic straps and althought they're clear they are still quite noticable. so i'm looking for a strapless bra, with plastic as the backing.. anyone? i suppose i could maybe buy one of the primark ones then cut off the straps huh.gif but knowing my luck that would go drastically wrong.

it was on the JML website that it said that they were £24.99. i'm not paying that for one night. i would go bare.. but the dress sorta pulls you all in and ironing board is the phrase that comes to mind. god you get everything so easily then getting a foking bra causes problems!

the bra i got for the prom last year was a multiway one, so although it had clear straps & a clear back, the straps were removeable. also, there was a way you could extend the straps & make them lower so you could hide them under a top sorta thing - investigate marks & spencers is my advice!

Primark RULES. I got two t-shirts out of there today. £3 each. BARGAIN. One is orange and says "I'm with the band" and has a guitar on it, the other is green and says "Rock my world" and has a guitar on it also.

I'll wear one when I meet McFly, mwahaha!

Good move with the plastic backed bra.

I'm going to just live there now that I have a crappy-paid job. Gone are the TopShop days. I'm Little Miss Primark now.

you'll find alot of the stuff is quite similar to other shops. Monsoon were in the papers saying that they're trying to sue Primark for copying their designs...

i've enver had a problem with any of the clothes, quality wise, and they have all lasted long( unlike my £40 river island trousers dry.gif) be wary of the accessories though.

i love primark. especially the bags. i'm a bag-a-holic, & at £2, most of primark's are irrestistable. also, the £2 vests - i have every colour! just love it!
