Hi,

Well it's the Spanish exam tommorrow and I'm pretty nervous (esp. about the listening). I was wondering why people are so good at listening?

Do you use a technique, like visualising the words in your head as they are spoken?

Do you use a technique, like visualising the words in your head as they are spoken?

I try to do this, but if they are speaking really fast it doesn't always happen.

Another thing which I find helps with listening is if you only hear a few words you recognise, put them together and try and thing up a logical guess which ties in with the question...It's almost always right.
