Just like to say thanks to you all for your little pieces of advice on driving. I particularly liked your helpful comments Lindsay and Superstar. I think the worst part for me is driving the person before you home, and a feeling of dread of never passing your test. Thanks laugh.gif

well i have had like 10/11 hours of lessons and my driving intructor says im ahead of what most people are at by 10 lessons so he makes me feel really confident, but i still stall more than i should be getting better tho! and i get so frustrated and red!!!, i stalled once at a busy roundabout and then when i finally got the biting point sorted i started moving forward just when i bus was coming!!! it was really scary,
but i have done the manouvers so i just need to practise and get more experience, but i am not up for having like 40 hours, i hope i will be ready before that!
oh and someone at my work was telling me that you can do a crash course for driving, just taking 1 or 2 weeks of intensive lessons beofre take your test!
i really dont think i would be up for that, i dont think i would feel happy after just 2 weeks!

My instructor started shouting "f**king...." a few times today.

Thinking of giving it a break and then starting back in a few months time or get a new instructor.

Ive been taking lessons since Feburary this year, and would say that i was ready to sit my test this month, but never booked it because of my exams. I have booked it for June, and im hoping to pass first time round. It really expensive and there is a really lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng waiting list to get a date for a test.
I just got my car a few weeks ago too, so i really want to pass now, i hate having to drive with my parents and the L plates.

Women are more likely to crash than men, but men are more likely to have more high speed, horrific crashes than women.
