So how was it?

I thought that it was fairly straight forward. biggrin.gif There were only a few questions which I couldn't do.

Super easy. Loved it.
<MrBob> I hate Uni. At least in film studies we get to talk about Fight Club.
<@X-Factor> Wouldnt you be breaking the first 2 rules?

p1- hardness
p2- easiness
Signatures suck. They clog up websites and serve no purpose.

That's where you find the maximum of minimum of a function and relate it to a real life problem like the area of a box or something like that.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!

Actually, I think it looks harder than last years exam (since last years was the easiest ever made). However, it still looks quite simple.

Paper 1 was unbelievably easy. I answered every question without difficulty.

Paper 2 was a bit harder mainly due to the last question. I wasn't sure what to do but I wrote -1≤p≥3 and I'm not sure if it's correct. However I did get the rest of the question right so I'm not to worried about losing a mark or 2 for it. That was all I really got stuck at and in my opinion the rest of paper 2 was just as straightforward as paper 1.

I would hardly call paper 1 straightforward.

I thought last year's was considerably more difficult than this years, maybe i could just put that down to having more experience sitting it this year than last. Everyone has different strenghs and weaknesses i suppose!
