imagine if your mum or dad or anyone in your family helped make the paper (because at the end of the day these people can be just normal parents).

Just imagine, your mum could tell you what was coming up. I don't think the SQA could ever stop something like that from happening though

So, how'd everyone find the paper?

i thought it was a fair enough paper & feel reasonably confident, with the exception of the circle questions [paper 1 - 2a / paper 2 - 3c] in each. Thought Paper 1 was generally more difficult than 2, which seems to be the general consensus among most of my friends, but even that wasn't too too bad.
Probably the first of my exams i've come out feeling okay about =]

It’s not that I literally think I’m a faerie. It’s just that I feel so different from most people. And this idea of a race living underground in caverns, spending all their days dancing and playing the fiddle and eating flowers and reciting poetry and sharing their dreams, that to me sounds much more real than the way people live in this world, hating and fighting and wanting and hurting. - FLB

Imagine that I can't be comforted at all , in pieces I went from crawling into a ball. Evidence, it's in my breathing every day, less and less and less. Can you hear me now, cause I'm not doing fine, I'm drowning in my mind again - LisaMariePresley

Yeah it was good. Although, I am kicking myself for not getting the answer to the last question on paper one... it was SO easy now that I think about it.

i forget to keep my paper one paper but managed to write down my answers for paper 2 and keep the paper:

1. 2x2 + x-1 + c

2a) Value came out as expected.
bi) -3/17
ii) -1.29 (wasn't too sure about these two)

3a) Value came out as expected
b) y= x-1

ci) C (3,2)
ii) (x-3)2 +(y-2)2=8

4a) TA (-5, 15, 1) TB (-40, 15, 2)
b) 50.9

5) 36 Units

6) y-4=3/2(x-12)

7) Got totally bamboozled at this one....ended up with x=5 even tho it state x<3 hmmm

8) Value came out as expected

9a) 252
b) 40 years....not too sure with this question

10) 13.5

11a) Used synthetic division, remainder came out as 0
b) p < or = -1 & p> or = 3

Half of these are probably wrong no doubt!
You'll never bring me down, cos' i'm so far above you...

It was 40 years.... although I got -1183.93819839183 years.

I proved that x+y=4, and I confirmed it when I checked over it.

I coudn't even start looking for the centre of the circle in 3 ©.

All in all; paper 2; easiest ever.
Paper 1; hardest ever.
Signatures suck. They clog up websites and serve no purpose.

Had a look at your paper there, it certainly is harder than last years, but it does look quite easy.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!

I got 36 units!!!!!! OMG so glad i didn't mess up that like I usually do with big integration questions.

I think my mark will be awful for Paper 1 but hopefully my mark form Paper 2 will balance me out at a C?
