I am stuck on this question, can anyone shed any light upon it before the exam tomorrow?

Thanks

logap=cos2x
logar=sin2x

Using log rules:

asin2x = r
acos2x = p

Multiplying together:

acos2x. asin2x = pr
acos2x + sin2x = pr
a1 = pr

Note: cos2x + sin2x = 1

logap=cos2x

logar=sin2x

Using y=logax <=> x=ay:

p=acos2x and r=asin2x

So pr=(acos2x) x (asin2x)

Using laws of multiplying indices:

pr=a(cos2x + sin2x)

pr=a1

pr=a
