By the way, see when they say you fail an essay, is the minimum you can get an 11? Like no lower than an 11?

Unfortunately no exam board will ever be that stupid, well actually...
Have you heard in England if your pet dies on the morning of the exam then you get an extra 2%?

Ok in England you get
2% extra if your pet dies but only if its on the morning of the exam
4% extra if a car accident happens in which you or your family are involved in but only if it happens on within 5 days of the exam
5% extra if a family member dies but only if it happens within a week on the exam

That's mental. I think Higher pupils in Scotland deserve an extra 20% if they have period pain during the exam :nod: guys I'm sure you can come up with a suitable equivalent.

No chance, it cant be proved like the example above can. I think the same extra % examples should apply in Scotland and as England though.

Or if their pet dies - would be easy enough to get their parents or whatever to go along with it I'm sure!

No we cant effect that. We give general advice on appealing and whether you can appeal. Your rights- for instance did you its your right to have your paper cross-marked. We dont influence final decisions rather just suggest methods.
