The greatest thing you'll ever do is stop listening to dance music.

Sorry. Can't stand the stuff. Never have been able to.

Then again, I was a 911 fan in my yoof. biggrin.gif

sad.gif sad.gif i was listening to dance music this morning laugh.gif laugh.gif I used to like it but not as much anymore. Some songs are fine though. I cant cope with all that beat stuff though... like you know what those stupid feckers have blaring out of their wee black tinted windowed cars. Anyway i'm not a ned, there's no way on earth anyone who actually knows me would call me a ned. I dont really fit in a class of ned/goth/mosher etcetc i have a whole lesley class of my own biggrin.gif

The Stills
Razorlight
Muse
Jimi Hendrix
The Killers
The Mars Volta

Anyone else see razorlight at barrowlands recently? it was pretty good.

I think Razorlight are supporting the Manic Street Preechers somewhere in Scotland soon.

So there we go.

I don't listen to enough music dating from before I was born to answer that question - but since I was born...Nirvana maybe.

I will saaaay Goo Goo Dolls. There's such a huge variety in their work, they're amazing.

Plus Iris is the ultimate teen angst song.

"And I don't want the wooooooorld to see me
Cos I dooooon't think that they'd understand"

That's the stuff!

It's very hard to choose as there are so many great abnds: The Who, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, U2, Guns N' Roses and Red Hot Chili Peppers. However as much as I'd like to say Led Zeppelin, I will have to go for The Who. They really started with guitar trashing on stage (though it started as an accident) and they have so many great tracks (Baba O'Riley, Won't Get Fooled Again, The Seeker, Pinball Wizard just to name a few). They've also been very influential on other bands that have started up since them.
