Yeah, it's really annoying if people change articles to have false information in them. I was looking up the "Ten Abominations" and someone had changed one of the things to "wearing a hat," needless to say, I didn't put that in my essay. I still prefer just using good old Google for finding stuff, it's much more reliable.

yeah, I think politics / history articles can sometimes be dodgy as people will have their own opinions. But sometimes wikipedia will put a warning at the top to say that the neutrality of the article is disputed
