I've heard a lot of people saying that it is much easier to make friends at uni - is this true?
I'm a very shy person (introvert) and find it difficult to make friends, is this likely to still be the case at uni?

Yeah I don't exactely know how easy it is, I think it lectures it's impossible, tutorials maybe...
I don't really know how it goes... I won't know anyone on my course, well I "know" Dave through this, if you could say that!

Yeah I've heard from people at Universities that it's quite difficult to make good friends just in lectures.
Go and join societies though, when you start! There supposed to be quite good and there's tons of them at university, so there'll definitely be some which of are interest to you.

i really am awful at making friends i really need someone to come to me or to become my friend through someone else, i have problems with the first steps. Which would be something that would stop me joining clubs etc. Oh but all already "know" Sparky to

Go up to the best looking girl and say "Is this seat free?". Then go, yeah I didnt know there was going to be girls as good looking as you on this course. SO glad I chose it.
Maybe you should just keep it until your a bit drunk....
