Hi all,

Adavnced HIgher Maths is going okay for me too. I'm coping with the work in class, bu tit seems there is so much to remember. I really wanted to try some exam style questions but my school don't have any. Apparently there supposed to be Leckie and Leckie past papers coming but they'll only have one or two actual papers in them. I was wondering has anyone else got questions, which they could post onto the forum. It would be a great help!

Thanks!

yeah L&L have past papers out *notes to self still got that to do*

as for posting questions that might be possible maybe seeing as you aren't actually stuck at one just don't have any

have you not done a exam style exam on unit 1 or if you have finished unit 2 then that

we also get weekly homework exercises that are to exam standard

If i am not here i am somewhere else

We do exercises after after topic, and occasionally do the advanced review exercise in the scholar material.

No we don't do any review exercises at all.

We don't even get any homework at all. My teacher gives us exercises out of her book, we haven't even been given a textbook each. My teacher did say she would give us exam style questions soon but she says she can't find any in the school. I do have access to scholar but i'm not sure whether there questions are up to exam level or not!

The Scholar "Advanced Review Exercise" at the end of each topic is A/B standard! Many of the questions are taken from CSYS papers!

And remember a lot of the questions in the exam are just the straightforward questions from the book, so don't spend all the time looking for really difficult problems.

Done NAB 2 today. Found it very easy on the whole i must say. The Methods of Proof was the only slightly concerning thing tho. Probably because its more english than maths laugh.gif

It seems my teacher isn't worrying about Nab 2 and we aren't doing it till after x-mas.

The questions at the end of each topic are of exam standard.

Also for some topics like Integration, they have a few tricky 'Challenge Questions'.

seems not bad, although we're still on fairly basic stuff (using stuff like 2+4+6+8 to prove ), he said we were proving binomial therom on Monday, then on Tuesday we're starting the dreaded unit 3, at least I think it's unit 3.
