our leaver's ball is taking place in June.

We dont have a leavers ball as such we have a prom. All 4th 5th and 6th pupils get to go. I luv it getting dressed up in a nice dress. I had a pink one last yr!! OH i luv it sooo much! Except the centuries it takes to get the photos dun which took 1/2 the flamin prom last yr!

our's is for all 6th years and about half the 5th years get 2 go

yeah i know, its a wee shame tho that only the tickets that are left get to go to the 5th years which means that some are left behind and theyire pals/bf/gf are goin

our school prom is for S5 and S6 totally if you see what i mean and its on 4th March because it stops us naughty six years that have just left without a care for what teachers think trashing the place + it has to be miles away from the local area to aviod frunk unfriendlies from school arriving uninvited

we have a prom for 6th years only. It's already booked and its in the marriot in june sometime. cant wait for it atall! I'm already searching for dresses, but they're all so expensive!

We have ours in June,usually just after we go back after the *****unmentionables*****. Its normally in the Inchyra Hotel (posh hotel in Falkirk) and its for 5th and 6th year.I went last year and we hired a big posh limo (twas lovely)....I don't think I'll go this year tho ,its all soooo expensive.

We were talking about ours today with one of the teachers. To think about where we are going to have it. For the last 3 years I think she said it's been in a Hilton in Glasgow.

This year our prom is on Friday the 13th of May - two weeks before my birthday

It's for S6 only and takes place in the Mansefield I *think*.

I'm looking forward to it, but I'm dreading wearing a dress

I've spotted the dress i want for my prom. I'm actually smitten. I work in a charity shop and someones handed in a prom dress (obviously only been worn once) you might think its stingy or whatever, but really its sooooo lovely. I'm going to try it on tomorrow so fingers crossed it fits.

I may adjust my Christmas dance frock for the leaver's do.

By adjust I mean sew a brightly coloured ribbon on it and get bright shoes and a brightly coloured bag. I'm so unimaginative.

i got my dress oh man IT'S AMAZING!!! I'm actually sooooo chuffed with it now for the shoes/ accessories!

You see i can't really understand this all the girls at my school are the same with the internet printouts, the discussion/debates. i mean i actually aint particularly looking forward to hiring a kilt cos it involves making decissions and time etc etc

Think I am wearing a suit to the leavers dance. Just bought one last Saturday for the Christmas dance, might just wear it again!

My school also has a prom for S6 only. Ours isnt booked, the social comittee organise it however it must take place on Friday the 1st of April- April Fools, thats not good! Can't wait for the prom but yeh ur right everything is so expensive and of course my boyfriend wants to make it even more expensive as he wants me to have my make-up professionally done- professionally? in hamitlon? He must be joking.

The Hilton in Glasgow, you lot are pampered, years ago my school had it in the Hilton in Bellshill but never any better than that really!

Friday the 13! But thats just after the english exam! You'll all have to dash home, sepend less time than usual getting ready, have panic attack, finally get to the hotel and not drink as if u do and u also have an exam on monday u'll get no studying/ cramming done!

We had our Leaver's Ball last night. Everyone (I think) had a good time. However, the food left much to be desired! My main course was truly revolting - I can't believe I even eat half of it! I guess I was just too hungry. The starter and desert were nice but didn't make up for the "mushroom stroganoff" (which tasted of cigarretes).

COMPLAIN!! ur the customer!!! oh yeah! customer rights, now, was that a great law or what!!!

I wasn't up for complaining, I was more interested in making sure I had a good time. Seen as there wasn't even a vegetarian option on the menu I wouldn't imagine they'd have anything better to offer me anyway.
