Yep and its gets worse! Its the same for every1 though and once the exams are finish you are so exstatically happy its unbelivable.
In the last month before the exams everything should calm down so I wouldnt be too worried.

Yeah most people finally realise that after their prelims where they didn't perform so well.
It's different from Standard Grades, where some work here and there, got you 8 1's. For Highers you really have to work for it.

There is a big jump from SG to H.
At times I didn't think the work was any harder really than some credit level stuff but the fact again comes from the fact it's all done in 1 year, so you really need to apply yourself right from the beginning.

In 5th year the problem is not the difficulty of the work its the amount of it!

Take my advice: LISTEN TO THE TEACHERS WHEN THEY SAY ITS A BIIIG JUMP.
It is and they will tell you that,I didn't listen and me not having an instant brain didn't believe it till after the prelims (too late) hence why I ended up with two c's and 2 d's for my highers (and having to redo them meaning that I can't go onto do Adv Higher)

yeah and if you think the higher is bad don't even look at the coorsponding AH cos it makes highers look like childsplay

I don't really fiund higher too hard. I dunno fi me doing a few Int 2's instead of Standard grade has helped much, but I'm not having much trouble. The only problems I have would be in German, but only because I'm doing Advanced Higher a year early >_<

This is true
.It doesn't really matter what level you're at, you will eventually adjust to the increased workload and difficulty. I thought that uni was going to be impossible when I first started because there's so much work - but you do learn to prioritise and deal with it.

Yeh, I agree.....uni seemed difficult at first (as did Highers and Advanced Highers when I done them) but u get used to the workload and it comes natural to u how to organise ur time efficiently and prioritise ur work

funny but i feel at home with highers and stuff i can't see myself doing SG anymore i prefer the fact that you do less highers so its more likily subjects you like/are good at

I'm agreeing with Dave here. I think highers are generally the topics you are more interested in as you only pick 5 max, have no restrictions and you don't have to revise work over 2 years! (handy as i tend to lose stuff easily 
)
Even though they're harder, i prefer a challenge to complete boredom!

you sound surprinsed that you are agreeing with medont get me started on losing stuff so far in the last week a have lost/had nicked 2 emsemble pieces, 1 Music festival solo, 1 AH project day book (new one) and various documents of AH maths
